Your front door is really the gateway to your family’s haven. The steps you take up those stairs help transition you from the harsh realities of the world to the place where you feel most cozy and safe. A rickety staircase at this home in Chicagoland was disturbing that transition for the homeowners. So SALT Construction built them a new entryway that now transitions them with quality, integrity, and beauty into the place where they call home.

This family was on a budget, so after the structural upgrades to the stairs and landing, we did cosmetic upgrades to give the house some more curb appeal. New house numbers, black paint on the window trim and mullions, simple window boxes and painting the mailbox made a huge impact without a huge investment.
